Course update and new reviews

My online course 'The way I See it' will now run in the spring instead and 'Write what you Know' is almost full so just another couple of places left. I'm offering a discount to anyone who wants to take them both.

There's a new review of 'Horse' here: http://www.firstpasture.co.uk/horse-books-elaine-walker-pri-1260.html?reviews_id=2.

A choice of 3 courses that are interactive but asynchronous - writers meet in a private, password-protected online classroom to collect, submit and read assignments on a regular basis. There is no live interaction, leaving writers free to work at a time to suit themselves.

All these courses involve peer review for which guidelines will be given in week 1, and include 5 writing exercises, (4x 500 words; 1 x 1000-2000 words) and 5 reading and/or feedback exercises. Each one will last around 16 weeks.

Fee £100 per course, payable in advance.

Mentoring is a one-to-one service aimed at experienced writers who either wish for help in starting a long project – e.g. novel, non-fiction book, collection of poetry – or those who already have a body of material they need help in moving towards a final draft. Mentoring can take place face-to-face, via email, or as a combination of both.

Please get in touch with details of your project for costs.
